Yes. As a legally registered Interfaith Minister in Scotland, Marie-Louise is authorised to conduct legally binding weddings, same-sex weddings, and civil partnerships. For funerals and baby blessings, no legal registration is required.

Marie-Louise is based in Kirkcaldy, Fife, and covers all of Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen, Stirling, Angus, Argyll & Bute, the Highlands, and Falkirk. No venue is too far when love calls.

Is travel included in the fee?

The first 30 miles of travel from Kirkcaldy are included in the fee, so there is no travel charge for ceremonies almost anywhere in Fife. Beyond that, mileage is charged at 50p per mile. For ceremonies more than 2 hours' drive away, one night's accommodation is charged. For ceremonies more than 4 hours away, two nights are charged. Accommodation is £150 a night from October to March and £200 a night from April to September, so that Marie-Louise arrives rested and on time for your ceremony.

It's never too early to reserve your date! Popular dates (especially summer weekends) can book up quickly. We recommend getting in touch as early as possible, even if you're still in the early planning stages.

Marie-Louise is legally registered to conduct ceremonies in Scotland. For venues outside Scotland, please get in touch to discuss options, as she may be able to help with a blessing ceremony.

How much does a wedding ceremony cost?

The full wedding ceremony package is £800, which includes consultations, an initial meeting, a follow-up meeting, a folder of ideas, bespoke crafting of your ceremony, and officiating on the day. A £400 deposit secures your date, with the remaining £400 paid before the ceremony. Travel beyond 30 miles of Kirkcaldy and any accommodation are charged separately.
